Bali is not only Kuta, ubud and Legian. There are many unexplored beautiful places. One of them is Menjangan Island. Menjangan Island is located in Taman Nasional Bali Barat (West Bali National Park). That location can be reached by bus or rental car from Kuta or Denpasar. It takes 4 hours from Denpasar to Labuan Lalang through Lovina. From that harbour we can rent a boat to visit that National Park. The boat ride takes about 30 minutes.
First time I saw this location, I was not interested. It’s just a small island with a small Pura (balinese place for pray). But when I jumped into the sea I was surprised. THIS IS THE BEST SNORKLING PLACE I HAVE EVER VISITED. There are lots of colourful fish, healthy coral and amazing underwater sceneries.
Menjangan Island has several snorkling and diving spots, but my favourite spot for snorkling is Cave Wall and Pos 2. If you are interested to visit this place, don’t worry about safety and rental snorkle set or dive gear. The park officials in collaboration with local travel agents will help us with the gear.
Because this location is a National Park, we need to register first, and then the officers will guide and protect you while you are snorkeling or diving. Moreover, the officers also keep the coral and fish safe from the visitors.
So Let’s Explore THE Unexplored places in Bali.
